To export references from any ProQuest database into EndNote, follow the process described below.
Step 1: Select reference/s to export
First, make sure your EndNote library is open. Search ProQuest, and apply search filters if necessary, to retrieve relevant results.
To select references to export:
Tick the box next to the title of each reference
Step 2: Export reference file and open in EndNote
In the top right hand menu, select Save> RIS (works with EndNote, Citavi, etc.)
The Export/Save dialog box will open.
Click Continue
If you are using Firefox, an .RIS file will open in EndNote and the reference/s will be imported
If you are using another browser, such as Google Chrome, the .RIS file will download - double-click on it from the downloads bar or saved location to open it in EndNote and import the reference/s
Open each imported reference and make any changes necessary to produce an accurate citation.
