Appendices to the Journals of the House of Representatives (AtoJs or AJHRs) Important official records of New Zealand’s social, economic and political history. Published since 1858, the AtoJs include reports documenting the work of government departments and public organisations as well as reports of select committees and commissions of inquiry. Currently covers the years 1858 to 1914. There are some volumes from this period that have yet to be added to the collection.

They comprise reports, statutes, correspondence and other documentation sent between the Colony and the Government in Britain, and cover all aspects of life and events in the colony at the time.
