Te Puna contains details of items held in libraries throughout New Zealand (university, polytechnic, public, government departments, etc). Useful for identifying print and/or digital theses and dissertations. Some overseas theses/dissertations also included.
To find theses/dissertations:
Use ? or * to truncate words, e.g. sustain? finds sustain, sustainability, etc
Use quotation marks to search for an exact phrase, e.g. "Corporate responsibility"
You may include thesis OR dissertation as keywords in your topic search

Lists over 9000 doctoral, masters and diploma theses on education topics about New Zealand and by New Zealanders, from NZ universities as well as a wide range of overseas tertiary institutions. It has been developed by the New Zealand Council for Educational Research library, as part of the Ministry of Education’s Iterative Best Evidence Synthesis (BES) programme
If the thesis/dissertation you require is not available online, you may be able to access a print or microfilm copy by placing an interlibrary loan request.
Requests for NZ items are generally straightforward. The item will usually be provided for your use in the AUT Library only.
Requests for overseas items can involve significant expense so each request is negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
