Set output style

  • For correctly formatted references the output style must be set to Turabian 9th Footnote
  • Do this each time for campus computers as they default to Annotated
  • Choose Turabian 9th Footnote in the Output Style dropdown 
  • If Turabian 9th Footnote does not appear choose Select Another Style
  • Scroll down to Turabian 9th Footnote (or press <T> to jump directly)
  • Highlight, then click Choose

Set Chicago/Turabian as the default

On your personal or office computer you can change the default option in Output Style Manager

  • Go to Edit > Output Styles > Open Style Manager for a list of all styles supplied with EndNote
  • Choose Unmark All
  • Scroll down to Turabian 9th Footnote and tick the checkbox
  • Close the window
  • Next time you open an EndNote library the current style should display as Turabian 9th Footnote

Note: This option is available on campus computers but selections will not be saved when you logout.
