Read & Publish Agreements

Key information

• Articles accepted between 1 January and 31 December of the year the agreement is in place are eligible
• CSIRO Publishing does not charge additional fees for page and/or colour fees
  • Authors should check each journal’s submission guidelines to ensure that they will not be subject to any other charges
• There is no cap on the number of articles per year that can be published OA under this agreement

Eligible authors

To be eligible for publishing with no APC fees:

• You must be the corresponding/ main author. 
• You must use your AUT email, and identify AUT as your institutional affiliation
• You must use AUT's Ringgold ID: 1410

Author information

• CSIRO: APC-free open access
   

Submission 

• Use the publisher's submission system (ScholarOne)
• Assign the Corresponding author
• The corresponding author must have an AUT email address
   

On acceptance

• You will be provided with a link to the Copyright Clearance Center Rightslink open access page
  • AUT Ringgold ID 1410
  • Email domain matching (use AUT email)
• Follow the on-screen instructions to "Claim Open Access" and select your open license type and accept institutional funding for OA
• The APC is waived for authors who have correctly entered AUT affiliation details
