Taylor & Francis agreement

Key information

  • Articles accepted between 1 January and 31 December of the year the agreement is in place are eligible 
  • Number of included articles is capped at 3,850 articles in 2024 (collective pool for all CAUL institutions)
  • Find up-to-date capped approval statistics in CAUL's reports
     

Included journal titles

  • Includes some of Taylor and Francis' hybrid journals
  • See the Eligible journals list and check the column "Included in R&P agreement" to identify the eligible journals

 

Eligible authors

To be eligible for publishing with no APC fees:

  • You must be the corresponding author
  • You must use your AUT email
  • You must select your affiliation with Auckland University of Technology

Publishing process

Author information

 

Submission 

  • Follow the publisher's usual article submission process 
  • Taylor & Francis journals use Submission Portal, ScholarOne Manuscripts or Editorial Manager for online submissions
  • The Corresponding author must submit the article
  • Use your AUT email and indicate AUT is your institutional affiliation
     

On acceptance

  • The corresponding author will be sent a link to complete an Article Publishing Agreement.
  • The system will give you the option to pay for Open Access through our CAUL agreement.
  • Select the open license you want.
  • Once the Article Publishing Agreement is complete, CAUL will confirm that your article is eligible to publish under the agreement.
  • The APC is automatically waived for authors who have:
    • used their institutional (AUT) email address 
    • selected AUT as their institutional affiliation
