Google Scholar My Profile

Google Scholar My Profile is a free online tool.

  • Citations are collected from Google Scholar generating an h-index and i10-index (the number of publications with at least 10 citations).
  • Citation metrics and graphs in the profile are automatically updated by Google Scholar.
  • You can also manually add publications that are not indexed by Google Scholar to your Profile.
  • If your publications are currently not available in Scopus or Web of Science but are available in Google Scholar, Google Scholar My Profile is an alternative place to find citation numbers and h-index.

Create and manage your profile

Create an account

  • Sign in using your Google account or Gmail account. If you don't have any Google accounts, create one by clicking the Create Account button.

Manage your profile

  • Click the + icon > Add article groups or Add articles. This will search for your name as an author, select the works you have authored and add them to your profile

  • If your articles are not included in the list matched your name, select Add article manually to add your publications.
  • The Add article manually option is particularly useful for the publications that have not be indexed by Google Scholar. Adding these publications into your Google Scholar profile will make these publications more visible and it may also find citations to these publications through Google Scholar's indexing system.

Making your research profile publicly available will help other researchers find your publications.
