Films - general pattern

Note:

#. Title of Film, directed by Director's First Name Last Name (Production Company or Distributor, Year of Release), Medium (if not in a theatre).

Bibliography:

Title of Film. Directed by Director's First Name Last Name. Production Company or Distributor, Year of Release. Medium (if not in a theatre).

or

Director's Last Name, First Name, director. Title of FilmProduction Company or Distributor, Year of Release. Medium (if not in a theatre).

NB: The bibliography entry for a film can begin either with the film's title or with the director's name.

Medium

  • Unless you watched the film in a theatre, include information about the medium at the end of the citation.
  • For a film watched online, include the URL or database name.
