Read & Publish Agreements

Key information

• Articles submitted between 1 January and 31 December of the year the agreement is in place are eligible (regardless of when published)
• There is no cap on the number of articles per year that can be published under this agreement
   

Included journal titles

• Includes most of the 85 journals published by John Benjamins.
• Covers hybrid journals (journals that flip to fully AO during the agreement will remain available to publish for this period.)
• Check the eligible journals list

Eligible authors

To be eligible for publishing with no APC fees:

• You must be the corresponding author. 
• You must use your AUT email
• You must select your affiliation with Auckland University of Technology

Submission 

• For many of the journals, submission is via the Editorial Manager system (first time users will need to create an account)
• Follow the publisher's usual article submission process via the relevant journal webpage
• The Corresponding author must submit the article 
• Use your AUT email address
• Select Auckland University of Technology as your affiliation
   

On acceptance

• The publisher will ask the corresponding author to complete a publishing agreement - follow publisher instructions
• The APC is automatically waived for eligible authors
   

License

• CC-BY will be applied by default. At the request of the author, another license can be considered.
