Key information

• Articles accepted between 1 January and 31 December of the year the agreement is in place are eligible
• There is no cap on the number of articles per year that can be published under this agreement
• No other APC discounts are offered under this agreement

Included journal titles

• Includes most hybrid and fully open access journals
• Go to CUP's full journal list and check the column "Included in R&P agreement" to identify the eligible journals

Eligible authors

To be eligible for publishing with no APC fees:

• You must be the corresponding author. 
• You must use your AUT email
• You must select your affiliation with Auckland University of Technology
• You must use your ORCiD ID

• Research articles
• Review articles
• Rapid communications
• Brief reports
• Case reports 

Author information

• CUP step-by-step guide

Submission 

• Follow the publisher's usual article submission process via the journal's homepage
• The Corresponding author must submit the article
• Use your AUT email address and AUT postal address

On acceptance

• The publisher will ask the corresponding author to complete an agreement 
• Select Gold open access and the open license you want
• You will receive a link to the CUP's RightsLink system - follow the instructions
• The APC is waived for authors who have:
  • used their institutional (AUT) email address 
  • selected AUT as their institutional affiliation from a drop down list
