Key information

• Articles accepted between 1 January and 31 December of the year the agreement is in place are eligible
• There is no cap on the number of articles per year that can be published under this agreement

Included journal titles

• This agreement allows authors from participating institutions to publish in most of the American Psychological Association's hybrid journals
• List of APA journals

Eligible authors

To be eligible for publishing with no APC fees:

• You must be the corresponding author. 
• You must use your AUT email
• You must select your affiliation with Auckland University of Technology

• Brief report
• Research article
• Review article

Submission

• Step 1: Submitting yourmanuscript through the editorial manager
  • Follow the publisher's usual article submission process
  • The corresponding author will need to pay special attention when selecting institutional affiliation
  • The corresponding author will need to pay special attention when answering the open access question to ensure that it is flagged correctly when processed
• Step 2: Submitting your article approval request through RightsLink
  • When the author clicks the "Pay charges now/ Raise an invoice" button in the automated email, they will be taken to RightsLInk
  • Click 'Get Started' to view funding options and select "Seek funding from [author's institution]
  • Complete the steps and click 'Submit request' to send it to CAUL for approval
